PE piping systems for chemical tankers

Chemical tankers are designed to transport chemicals in bulk over water. For this specific project, plastics proved to be the solution. Due to the chemicals being transported, plastic was the only applicable material.

A PE 100 piping system was chosen for this project, consisting of pipes, flanges, bends, T-pieces, and butterfly valves. PE 100 piping systems are a proven solution for many industrial applications. Installation

Rombouts Kunststof Techniek (RKT) was responsible for the complete installation of the piping work. In addition to the piping, RKT also designed and produced the full vinyl ester ladders. These ladders ensure safe entry into the 5-meter deep tanks for inspection and cleaning. A total solution made of plastics.
