PE piping system and sheet material for production process

To achieve this, the existing process and storage tanks have been replaced with new ones. All tanks are interconnected by plastic piping systems. From bulk to mixing installations, from mixing installations to buffer tanks, and from buffer tanks to filling lines, the entire installation for mixing plant nutrients is made of plastic.

PE Piping Systems

Due to its chemical resistance, a PE piping system was chosen. PE 100 piping systems are a proven solution for many industrial applications. In this case, PE 100 also proved to be a safe and reliable solution for the storage and transport of these nutrients.

PE Sheet Material

The storage and process tanks are made of PE. Here too, the choice fell on PE due to the chemical composition of the medium to be stored and transported. Additionally, the tanks are easy to clean because of the choice of PE.

The installation

Altop handled the engineering and installation of the tanks and piping system. All this was achieved without a single day of downtime. The combination of PE with engineering and installation ensures that the expected lifespan of the entire installation is more than 20 years.
